Why we built EvronDesk
Talk to restaurant owners about their POS and you hear the same problems. The POS stopped working when the internet did. Moving to a better card rate meant changing POS and every piece of hardware. Online ordering, the kitchen screen and delivery apps were all extra subscriptions. And restaurants outside the US and Europe were an afterthought: no Urdu or Arabic on tickets, no local tax portal, no local wallets.
EvronDesk is our answer. One system for the register, kitchen, tables, online orders, stock, staff and reports, which:
- keeps working offline and syncs when the connection is back,
- runs on hardware you choose, from an iPad to a Windows touchscreen or an Android phone,
- leaves card processing to you, so you keep your bank's rates,
- speaks your market: currency, tax rules, bilingual menus, local wallets and tax portals,
- and opens up through an API, so your data is always yours.
What we believe
Honest software. Our site says what EvronDesk does and, just as plainly, what it doesn't. If a competitor suits you better, our comparison guide says so.
No lock-in. Month-to-month plans, standard hardware, your own processing and exportable data. If you stay, it's because EvronDesk earns it.
Built for the rush. Every screen is designed for the busiest ten minutes of the night, not the quietest.
Who's behind it
EvronDesk is built by Capra, a technology company based in Lahore, Pakistan, led by founder Aamir Raza. Aamir writes the guides on this site and works with restaurant owners to decide what we build next.
Where we work
EvronDesk is built for restaurants, bars, cafés, cloud kitchens and hotel F&B outlets in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
What's next
We're working on deeper hotel support. Today EvronDesk runs hotel food and beverage outlets; a property management system for rooms and reservations is on our roadmap. If that's important to you, tell us.
