Short answer
EvronDesk is a cloud restaurant POS for Saudi Arabia with 15% VAT, ZATCA-format QR codes on simplified invoices, Arabic and English menus, and delivery-app intake through aggregators. For ZATCA Phase 2, it connects to your certified e-invoicing provider rather than claiming its own certification.
VAT and the ZATCA QR code
Set 15% VAT, inclusive or exclusive, and add your VAT number and business name. Every receipt then carries the ZATCA-format QR code encoding your name, VAT number, timestamp, total and VAT, the requirement for simplified tax invoices since e-invoicing began in December 2021. The QR is created on the device, so receipts stay valid even when you're offline.
Phase 2: integration, honestly explained
ZATCA's second phase connects invoicing systems to the FATOORA platform, wave by wave, starting with the largest businesses. Phase 2 invoices must be in a specific XML format, cryptographically stamped and reported to ZATCA within set timeframes, using a compliant solution. EvronDesk doesn't do that stamping itself. Instead, our generic tax connector sends each sale to a ZATCA-compliant provider, and prints the invoice number and QR it returns. If you've been notified for a Phase 2 wave, talk to us before your deadline.
Arabic first
Item names, tickets, receipts and your online menu can all carry Arabic alongside English.
Delivery apps
HungerStation, Jahez, Keeta, Talabat, The Chefz and others dominate Saudi delivery. Connect them through an aggregator and orders appear on your kitchen display in your own item names, flagged by app.
Payments
Mada and credit cards run on the terminal from your bank or provider. EvronDesk records them alongside cash, wallets and gift cards without taking a cut.
Frequently asked questions
Does EvronDesk print the ZATCA QR code?
Yes. Every simplified tax invoice carries a QR code with the seller name, VAT number, invoice time, total and VAT amount, generated on the device so it works offline too.
Is EvronDesk ZATCA Phase 2 certified?
No, and we won't claim to be. For Phase 2 (integration with FATOORA), connect EvronDesk to a ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing provider through our generic tax connector. Check which wave your business is in and confirm requirements with your tax adviser.
Which delivery apps work in Saudi Arabia?
HungerStation, Jahez, Keeta, Talabat, The Chefz and others, through an aggregator such as Deliverect where it supports them.
