Short answer
EvronDesk is a cloud POS for Australian cafés, restaurants, pubs and food trucks. It supports GST-inclusive pricing, public holiday surcharges, EFTPOS on your own terminal, and Uber Eats, DoorDash and Menulog orders through Deliverect. Plans start at US$29 a month with no lock-in contract.
GST done the Australian way
Australian menus show prices with GST included. Switch EvronDesk to tax-inclusive pricing and every price, receipt and report works that way, with the 10% GST component shown on the tax invoice. Items that are GST-free can carry a 0% rate.
Surcharges on weekends and public holidays
Many venues add a surcharge on Sundays and public holidays to cover penalty rates. For dine-in bills, set it as the service charge percentage for those days, show it clearly on your menu and at the counter, and set it back to zero afterwards. It appears as its own line on receipts and in reports.
Cafés first
Australia runs on café culture, and café orders carry more modifiers than almost anything else: size, milk, strength, extra hot. EvronDesk's café mode puts them a tap away and calls names on the order-ready board. See café POS.
EFTPOS and cards
Keep the terminal from your bank or provider. EvronDesk records EFTPOS and credit payments without taking a percentage, and tips can be added at payment.
Delivery apps
Uber Eats, DoorDash and Menulog orders land on your kitchen display through Deliverect, matched to your menu. Your own commission-free ordering page sits alongside.
Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and everywhere else
EvronDesk is cloud software, so there's no local installer to wait for: sign up, set up your menu and start trading. It works the same in a CBD restaurant and a regional pub, and keeps working offline when the country internet drops out.
Frequently asked questions
Does EvronDesk show GST-inclusive prices?
Yes. Turn on tax-inclusive pricing and menu prices include GST, as Australian consumer law expects. Receipts and reports show the GST component.
Can I add a public holiday surcharge?
Yes, for dine-in bills. Set the service charge percentage for surcharge days, display it clearly to customers as consumer rules require, and set it back to zero the next day.
Does it work with my EFTPOS terminal?
Yes. Take EFTPOS and credit cards on your own terminal from your bank or provider and record them as card. You keep your existing merchant rates.
