Short answer

EvronDesk is a cloud restaurant POS for Sri Lanka that adds service charge and VAT to bills, supports Sinhala and Tamil item names alongside English, records card and cash payments from your own terminal, and keeps billing offline when the connection drops.

Service charge and tax

Sri Lankan restaurants commonly add a 10% service charge, and VAT-registered businesses add VAT on top. Set both in EvronDesk and every dine-in bill shows them on separate lines. Rates have changed several times in recent years, so check the current VAT rate and any other levies with your accountant and update them in settings when they change.

Trilingual menus

Give each item a Sinhala or Tamil name next to the English one. Kitchen staff and guests each read the name they know.

Hotels and tourism

Many Sri Lankan restaurants sit inside hotels and resorts or serve mostly tourists. EvronDesk handles hotel outlets with room service and charge to room, and prints receipts in your chosen currency.

Delivery

Uber Eats and PickMe Food orders can come in through an aggregator or direct connection where available, and your own commission-free ordering page works anywhere.

Offline when it matters

Power cuts and patchy mobile data are part of life outside the cities. EvronDesk keeps taking orders and payments offline and syncs when the connection is back.
