Hotel POS

Hotel POS for restaurants, bars and room service

EvronDesk runs the food and beverage side of a hotel: the restaurant, lobby bar, pool bar, room service and banqueting. Each outlet can run as its own location with its own menu and reports, and guests can settle on the spot or charge to their room.

Short answer

EvronDesk is a hotel POS for food and beverage: the restaurant, bars, room service, pool and banqueting. Each outlet has its own menu, screens and reports. Guests can pay on the spot or charge to their room. It works alongside your hotel's PMS rather than replacing it.

One system for every outlet

A hotel kitchen often feeds three or four outlets at once: breakfast in the restaurant, all-day dining, the lobby bar, the pool bar and room service. Set each up in EvronDesk with its own menu, prices, tables and devices, and route their orders to the right kitchen screens. Outlet managers see their own numbers; the F&B manager sees them all together.

Room service

Choose Room service as the order type, enter the room number and guest name, and the order goes to the kitchen with a clear room-service label. Room service can carry its own service charge percentage, set once in settings. Settle it with a card, cash or a charge to room.

Charge to room

When a guest signs the bill to their room, record it as Charge to room with the room number and name. Room charges appear as their own payment type in reports, with the room number on every order, so the front office can post them to folios at the end of each shift. If your PMS has an API that accepts charges, EvronDesk's API and webhooks can send them automatically. Ask your PMS provider what they accept and we'll help connect it.

Banqueting and events

Take deposits on bookings, run set menus as combo items, apply service charge automatically to large groups, and split a function bill between the organiser and attendees.

Breakfast, buffets and packages

Sell buffets as single items with covers counted, record package breakfasts at zero price so covers still show in reports, and keep à la carte orders on the same check.

What EvronDesk doesn't do

We'd rather be clear: EvronDesk is not a hotel property management system. It doesn't manage room inventory, reservations, housekeeping or check-in. Most hotels already have a PMS they're happy with and want a better restaurant and bar system alongside it, and that's the job EvronDesk is built for.

Offline by the pool

Hotel Wi-Fi is often strongest in the lobby and weakest everywhere F&B happens. EvronDesk keeps taking orders and payments when a device loses connection and syncs when it's back, so the pool bar doesn't stop serving because of a dead spot. More on offline mode.

Frequently asked questions

What is a hotel POS system?

A hotel POS system is the point of sale used in a hotel's food and beverage outlets (restaurants, bars, room service, minibar and banqueting) and sometimes in spas and shops. It records sales, sends orders to the kitchen and lets guests pay or charge to their room.

Is EvronDesk a hotel management system (PMS)?

No. EvronDesk is the POS for your F&B outlets. Room inventory, reservations, check-in and the guest folio stay in your property management system. EvronDesk records room charges with the room number and guest name, and its API and exports can pass them to your PMS.

Can EvronDesk post charges to the guest's room?

Yes, as a 'charge to room' payment with room number and guest name. Room charges show as their own payment type in reports for the front office to post to folios, or can be sent to your PMS through the API if it accepts them.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Outlets keep taking orders if the hotel network drops, which matters by the pool and in banqueting halls where Wi-Fi is often weakest.
